Angelo Baca

Dr. Angelo Baca (Diné/Hopi) is from San Juan County, Utah and has lived near the Bears Ears National Monument throughout his life, learning traditional and cultural teachings from his grandparents, family, and tribal communities. He currently is a professor at Rhode Island School of Design in the History, Philosophy, and Social Sciences Department. Angelo is also an avid climber, trail runner, and documentary filmmaker.
