“When you say an adaptive-style climbing competition, a lot of people thought ‘this is only for people who have disabilities.’ We’re saying the opposite. It’s for everyone. It’s for people able-bodied and disabled to come climb together and learn from each other.”
Adaptive climbing has grown in participants in recent years thanks to collaborative efforts of organizations like OutdoorFest and the Adaptive Climbing Group.
