I am a multisport mountain athlete in the fields of ultra trail running and rock climbing. I identify as someone on the Autism Spectrum, and consider this a very important part of my athletic identity. Much of my enthusiasm for my sports comes from the unparalleled calming effect that they have on my brain. Together, running and climbing give me the peace of mind that helps me show up for the other things and people in my life that matter. I’m pursuing my Master’s in Sports Psychology and am passionate about fostering better mental health practices in sport environments. I maintain a somewhat delusional belief in my ability to follow through on anything as long as I stick with it for long enough—much to the chagrin of my gracious belay partners and running friends. I live in western Colorado with my partner, Ben, and my 20 pound cat who thinks he’s a dog, Puck.
