We had a big smile on our faces watching this week’s whipper. The energy at the crag, paired with the climber’s guttural screams, kept us glued while he battled up Rhyolite Dreams (5.12d) at La Bufa outside Guanajuato, Mexico.

The filmer George Schuhmacher said his friend Piotrek was all in on his redpoint burn, deciding on the fly to skip one of the final clips and punch it to the chains. Good effort, Piotrek! And thank you for the inspiration as we head into this weekend’s projects.

Happy Friday, and be safe out there.
